Fractal Shifts

Fractal Shifts are a feature within the Incrementyverse.

You can unlock them by buying the "Unlock Fractal Shifts" Incrementyverse upgrade for 10{2}10000 Incrementy. Fractal Shift costs scale as $10\{level+2\}1000$ Incrementy. Perfoming a Fractal Shift resets Incrementy progress and unlocks a new Fractal Engine level. Buying this unlocked level will allow you to reach the next order of Incrementy.

Performing a Fractal Shift also reduces the Fractal Engine Base by 1, slightly reducing the time it takes to purchase Fractal Engines above Level 1. Contrarily, it also increases the cost of the Level 1 Fractal Engine based on how many shifts have been performed.

When you buy Fractal Shifts you sometimes gain Energy Orbs. They provide a multiplier to the Incrementy and various other boosts. The amount of Orbs you have can be calculated using the $\lfloor 2\sqrt{level + 0.26} - 1\rfloor$ formula. The first ten Orbs are gained on the 1,2,4,6,9,12,16,20,25,30 Fractal Shifts.
