Decrementy

Overview

Decrementy is an exponentially increasing value that is introduced and only available in Challenge 8.

Decrementy Effect

Decrementy mainly divides Tier 1 Automation. Decrementy’s effect on Tier 1 Automation can be raised to the power of 0.95 with the 1^st Dark Upgrade, meaning the formula is $r^{0.95^{u}}$, where $r$ denotes your current base Decrementy divider to Tier 1 Automation, and $u$ denotes how many times you've bought the 1^st Dark Upgrade.

Decrementy Growth Rate

• The formula for the base Growth Rate of Decrementy is $10^{0.01332*(g_{ord}(10)+1)^{0.2}}$where $ord$ is your Ordinal value.[verify]

Decrementy growth rate can be square rooted with the 2nd Dark Upgrade if your Ordinal is below ω^ω3, otherwise it will be squared.

• The formula for Decrementy growth with the 2^nd Dark Upgrade is $baseDecrementyGrowth^{(2^{2*Ord-1})^{d}}$, where $Ord$ is 0 if your Ordinal is less than ω^ω3, or 1 otherwise; and $d$ represents how many times you've bought the 2nd Dark Upgrade.

It’s currently impossible to get your Autoclickers to work past an Ordinal of ω^ω2 without cheats or exploits (in Base 3, from ω^ω3).

Decrementy can be used to buy Dark Upgrades and Dark Manifolds later on.

Trivia

• While Decrementy is a nerf in Challenge 8, later on in the Darkness stage and further it becomes useful, as you can use Decrementy to buy Dark Upgrades and Dark Manifolds. The 2^nd Dark Upgrade increases Decrementy gain above ω^ω3 and decreases it below ω^ω3, and so at that point Decrementy can disable Tier 1 Automation right when you hit ω^ω3 so there is no point of Decrementy's nerf at that point.
• Despite Decrementy being like an inverse of Incrementy, Decrementy does not become a relevant currency during the Incrementyverse event. (?)
