Collapse screen

What the screen looks like when you Collapse for the 1st time.

Overview[]

Collapse is the final Prestige Layer in Ordinal Markup to date. To Collapse, you need to meet the requirements of the u44 Booster Upgrade, which means having at least 22 Challenge completions (before Collapse), and have either done at least 25 Factor Boosts (before first Collapse) or reached BHO (after first Collapse). (check this info)

Functions[]

Collapsing will reset everything that precedes it, such as Factor Boosts. However, the consequences of Collapsing can be reduced with Sluggish Milestones, which can let you keep Incrementy and their Upgrades, Manifolds, Dark Upgrades and their varient of Manifolds, and even some of your Factor Boosts, therefore Boosters. Prior to the 1st time you Collapse, you are greeted with 3 prompts once you buy u44.

Cardinals[]

Collapsing successfully rewards the player with Cardinals ℵ, which can assigned to ℵ0, ℵ1, or ℵ2. They can be used to provide powerful boosts to main sources, like boosting Tier 1 Automation, boosting Tier 2 Automation (and Dynamic Factor cap with AU6) and boosting OP gain (and Incrementy gain with AU5), respectively. The amount of an ℵ you have will produce power of the said ℵ. The amount of ℵ power you have will provide the boosts as mentioned earlier, and the more ℵ power the more beneficial the boost is. In addition to this, ℵ0, ℵ1, and ℵ2 can be used together to create a ℵω, which is used for powerful upgrades (Aleph Upgrades). These can let you unlock new features, such as Dark Upgrades, make the Alephs provide extra boosts, and boost the effectiveness of the boost provided from ℵ1 to 5.

The longer your Collapse gets, the harder it is to gain more Cardinals. The time is capped between 1000 and 100000 seconds. The formula for Cardinal gains past 100000 seconds is , where represents the amount of Factor Boosts you have done.

Unlocks[]

Collapse unlocks a whole new layer of content. As soon as you Collapse, you unlock its Collapse tab[1]. Its subtabs are listed below.

Aleph Power[]

Collapse

The Aleph Power sub-tab is the 1st sub-tab of the Collapse tab. This sub-tab is where you can find the main feature of Collapse; Cardinals. You can find your current number of Cardinals, Collapse button, Next Cardinal in x Factor Boosts and Most Cardinal collapsed at once from top of the space of the sub-tab. Additionally, you can see the 3 assignable Alephs grouped in a row, showing their respective amount, power, effect to Tier 1 Automation, Tier 2 Automation (and Dynamic Factor cap with AU6) and OP gain (and Incrementy gain with AU5) with their Assign 1 buttons and Assign All next to that. You can Distribute All using the button (unlocked with SM10). Underneath the Cardinals display, you will find smaller text showing how many Factor Boosts until the next Cardinal gained after Collapsing again, and next to that you can find how long you have been in a Collapse run for.

You can additionally turn off the Collapse Confirmation that prompts: Are you sure you want to collapse? (if you can Collapse), or Do you want to restart this current collapse to restart the collapse timer? (if you can't) using the button under the text under the Collapse button, however the Do you want to restart this current collapse to restart the collapse timer? prompt doesn't go away when performing this.

Finally, there is a chunk of text at the bottom of the page. It always states this:

""

You are getting 1 extra aleph power of all every three seconds now that you've collapsed. This caps at 1200 Aleph Power.

Cardinals are based on the amount of Factor Boost and the time, where a faster collapse yields more cardinals. Time is capped between 1,000 seconds and 100,000 seconds.

Cardinals don't decay when offline time is disabled. Cardinals don't decay at hard, but getting more is harder the longer the collapse is, until you reach 100,000 seconds. You can change offline time in Options. The formula for cardinals past 100,000 seconds is sqrt(Factor Boosts-24), and you should thank me for removing cardinal decay, since it is such a trash mechanic

""

Aleph Upgrades[]

Collapse Aleph Upgrades

The Aleph Upgrades sub-tab is the 2nd sub-tab of the Collapse tab. Its name is pretty self-explanatory; you can find the Aleph Upgrades here. First, you can see large text showing how much ℵω you have, much like Cardinals in the Aleph Power sub-tab. In addition to this, it comes with conversion buttons underneath; Buy ℵω for 1 of each ℵ and Buy half of max ℵω, again self-explanatory.

The main content is the Aleph Upgrades. They are listed in rows and columns inside a box-like space. Each Aleph Upgrade bought is filled pure green, and Aleph Upgrades that aren't bought are filled white.

Also, jokingly, the text at the bottom says:

""

You may have to rotate your phone on mobile to see all of the upgrades. Why does this text even exist?
""

This is straight-up copied from a string in the Upgrades sub-tab of the Boosters tab, with an added sentence questioning its own existence.

Sluggish Milestones[]

Collapse Sluggish Milestones

The Sluggish Milestones sub-tab is the 3rd sub-tab of the Collapse tab. Again, its name is self-explanatory; Sluggish Milestones are located here. You will see a heading saying Sluggish Milestones, and right underneath is a bit of information, saying: ""

Complete the collapse in the required amount of Factor Boosts or less to recieve a prize! Each prize also starts you with an extra Booster
""

(probably a typo here in 'recieve', it should be 'receive') The Sluggish Milestones themselves are displayed on this page. Completed Sluggish Milestones are filled green, and uncompleted Sluggish Milestones are filled grey.

Baseless Milestones[]

Similar as above, you will see a heading saying Baseless Milestones, and right underneath is a bit of information, saying:

""

You can now enter any challenges past three completion!

Reach the required ordinal in Challenge 4 to receive a reward

Each reward also starts you with an extra Booster
""

The Baseless Milestones themselves are displayed on this page. Completed Baseless Milestones are filled green, and uncompleted Baseless Milestones are filled grey.

Autoprestigers[]

Collapse Autoprestigers
! Note: This tab unlocks when you achieve SM12.

The Autoprestigers sub-tab is the 4th sub-tab of the Collapse tab. All of the Autoprestigers are found here, initially unlocked with SM12 with just the Factor Shift and Factor Boost Autoprestigers, then with SM10 you can upgrade those Autoprestigers using unlocked buttons below to upgrade the respective ones, using 500 ℵω for each upgrade of Autoprestigers.

After SM1, you unlock a lot more Autoprestigers, and they are listed below the original list.

Singularity[]

Screenshot (1)
! Note: This tab unlocks when you achieve u45, which is available only when you achieve SM1 (to unlock rows 5 and 6 of Booster Upgrades).

The Singularity sub-tab is the 5th sub-tab of the Collapse tab. Here you can find your Singularity and its level.

At the top of the screen is small text showing how many Dark Manifolds, Manifolds and ℵω you have, respectively. It is in this order because there are 3 upgrade buttons sorted in a row, with the order above. Like the other tabs, there is a main text, showing your current Singularity level, and there is smaller text right underneath that shows its effect to Factor Boost requirements at FB25+ and multiplier to Factor Boost gain. In the very center, there is also an illustrated black circle (), implying a Black Hole.

Below the 3 upgrade buttons there is a Downgrade the Singularity for a Manifold button, and finally, underneath that is a stat showing how many Factor Boosts you are earning /s. This makes it easier to see which Singularity level is most efficient because you don't have to go to the Markup tab to find out how many Factor Boosts you are getting /s.

Trivia[]

  1. At past version, hovering Collapse version doesn't do anything, it just stay as a Dark Green button instead of Green

Glitch[]

Note: These occurred in previous versions.
