Prestige Mechanics in incremental games are a feature that allows you to reset all of your prvious progress in exchange for powerful boosts. Prestige Mechanics can stack over each other, and you can have Prestige Mechanics that reset previous Prestige Mechanics.

Prestige Mechanics that reset progress for a currency that is used for even more progression are known as Prestige Layers.
